Create a little sunburst of fun with this entertaining activity! Gather your RoseArt Watercolors and a few household supplies to get started.
- RoseArt Watercolors
- RoseArt Paintbrushes
- Write Dudes Pencil
- Watercolor Paper
- Painting tape
- Small round object to trace (I used a small flashlight)
To start, take your painting tape and adhere your watercolor paper to your cardboard. I used painting tape as it is the least adhesive tape and will peel off without ruining the watercolor paper. The paint tape on the outside will create a clean border around your masterpiece, adding a great finishing touch!
Use your ruler and find the middle of your watercolor paper, and draw a small circle. I outlined the head of a small flashlight to make a perfect circle shape, but any round household item will do!
Next, take your ruler and draw lines in all directions intersecting the center circle. Once all lines are complete, erase the center circle and get ready to paint!
Take your RoseArt Watercolors and paint brushes to paint inside all of the lines. Use a variety of colors to create a beautiful sunburst. You can also substitute RoseArt Broadline Markers, Crayons or Colored Pencils if that is easier!
When the Watercolors have dried, gently peel off the painters tape. Voila! Your beautiful, vibrant sunburst is complete!
