It’s finally the first day of spring; let’s embrace the great weather with this colorful tree craft!
For this craft, we will be creating a beautiful spring tree by using a color mixing technique that ultimately leaves us with a masterpiece.
Here are the supplies needed to make this happen:
- RoseArt Watercolors
- RoseArt Paintbrushes
- Brown RoseArt Broadline Marker
- Watercolor Paper
- Spray bottle
Start by gently misting the paper with your spray bottle. (Be sure to set your bottle to spray, not stream)
Next, dip your paintbrush in the RoseArt watercolors (one color at a time) and tap onto the paper. To control where the color was placed, we tapped the paintbrush against the back of another paintbrush. It was a fun technique to try!
Continue tapping various watercolors onto the paper. We chose yellow, red and blue – but choose the colors that speak most to you!
Now, gently mist the colors together with your spray bottle. Let the colors mix together naturally and allow time to dry.
To complete your tree, add branches with your Brown RoseArt Broadline Marker.
You can experiment with different colors and shapes. Enjoy, and happy spring!
