We definitely have spring fever! Let’s welcome the sunshine and spring weather with this Watercolor Flower craft.
Here are the supplies needed for this craft:
- RoseArt Watercolors
- RoseArt Paint Brushes
- RoseArt School Glue
- White Watercolor Paper
We’re going to begin this craft by creating our flower petals. Using your RoseArt Watercolors and Paint Brushes, apply your favorite spring colors to white watercolor paper.
In addition to the flower petals, we need green leaves, a yellow flower center and a background. Paint the green leaves and yellow center on one sheet of paper and the background on another. I dedicated about 2/3 of the sheet for the green leaves and other 1/3 for the yellow center. For the background, use any color combination, but try to keep it muted so the flower pops!
When all sheets have dried you can begin cutting your petals shapes.
Once you have finished cutting your petals, start arranging them one by one to create that big, beautiful spring flower. As you are arranging, don’t forget to use a small dab of glue to secure each petal.
Next, cut the green leaves and glue them under the edges of the flower.
Now carefully cut the yellow center and glue to the flower. We frayed the edges of the yellow center to add a little something extra!
Finally, glue your finished flower onto the background you created.
We hope you caught a little spring fever and enjoyed creating this flower craft.
