Do you have some extra firewood lying around the home? If so, set aside a few pieces to try this fun Snowman Family activity!
You will need a few items to build your Snowman Family:
- RoseArt Poster Paints
- RoseArt Watercolors
- RoseArt Glue Gun
- Fabric for scarves and head wraps
- Three Pieces of Wood; I cut each piece approximately 1 – 1 ½ feet, but any size works. You choose how big you want your Snowman Family to be!
Start by painting your wood white using your RoseArt poster paints. Allow the wood to dry as long as needed, approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Once the wood is dry, add the head wrap and scarf to each Snowman. I folded the head wrap at the bottom to add a little texture. Also, I used the RoseArt glue gun to secure the pieces on the wood. From there, take a small piece of string and tie the head wrap at the top.
Next, take your Roseart Watercolors and paint the faces on your Snowman Family. I used black and orange for the eyes and nose – but be creative and use other colors or materials for the eyes and nose!
Once the Snowman Family is all set, you can place in your house or on your front porch for decoration! I hope you enjoy this craft, and I hope you’re staying warm this winter!
