Here is another homemade Valentine for your Valentine to be! Not only can you use your RoseArt supplies, but you can re-purpose your old newspaper as well. It’s a win-win!
Here is what you’ll need to get started:
- RoseArt Watercolors
- RoseArt Poster Paints
- RoseArt Paint Brushes
- RoseArt Glue Stick
- USA Gold #2 Pencil
- White Construction Paper
Start by painting the newspaper with different RoseArt Watercolors. Make sure there is a towel underneath the newspaper, as the colors will seep through!
While the paint is drying, create a heart template with your white construction paper. The heart should be small enough to fit inside of a postcard. Use the heart template to trace and cut out hearts from the newspaper.
Cut the remaining pieces of the white construction paper into rectangles, about the size of a postcard. Re-use the heart template to trace hearts onto the construction paper.
Paint around the heart template with your RoseArt Poster Paints (or watercolors, your choice!). You can use one color or several colors!
Once dry, use your RoseArt Glue Stick to glue on the newspaper hearts. You can write a special message on the back for your Valentine.
