Getting ready to ring in 2015? Make these DIY noisemakers to celebrate this New Year’s Eve!
Here are the supplies needed for this craft:
- RoseArt Markers or Crayons
- RoseArt Glitter Glue
- RoseArt School Glue
- 2 Paper Plates
- Sequins or Decorative Stickers
- Popsicle Sticks
- Handful of uncooked Pasta
Start by decorating the front of your noisemaker. I added the year and some decorations to make it festive. The RoseArt Glitter Glue added a little sparkle as well…because New Year’s Eve is not complete without some sparkle! Make your noisemaker as bright and colorful as you would like!
While the front of the noisemaker is drying, cut small pieces of your ribbon and staple them to the back of the noisemaker. Curl the ribbon with your scissors to add a little pizazz.
Glue the popsicle stick to the inside of the plate to act as the handle. Be sure the handle is secure before putting the noisemaker to use!
Add some dried pasta or dried beans to the inside of the plate to act as the ‘noise’ in your noisemaker.
Now, staple the front and back plates together. I added more decoration to the ends to cover up the staples.
Now your noisemaker is complete! Have a safe and Happy New Year!
