Try this monstrously adorable bookmark craft that will make reading a lot more entertaining!
Here are the supplies needed for this craft:
- RoseArt Broadline Markers
- RoseArt Glue Stick
- USA Gold #2 Pencil
- Colored and White Construction Paper
Starting with your construction paper, draw three small squares (about 2-3” each) – one in the corner with one square on either side. It’s best to use your ruler so the squares are the same size and the lines are straight and visible.
On the outer boxes, draw diagonal lines facing in. You will not use the outer halves, so draw an X or color in the area you will not use.
Use your scissors and cut out the shape – but be sure not to cut the outer halves that you X’d out!
Fold in the outer edges and glue together using your RoseArt Glue Stick.
Now the fun part! Decorate the bookmark as you see fit. I wanted a monster bookmark, so I traced eyes and teeth with my black RoseArt Broadline Marker. I then cut and glued them onto the front of the bookmark. Try different designs for each bookmark you create.
To use your new bookmark, slip it over the corner of the page like a pocket. Enjoy!
