Create a no-mess, colorful masterpiece! You only need a few supplies to get this started, so let’s try it!
Here are the supplies needed:
- RoseArt Broadline Markers, Watercolors or Poster Paints
- RoseArt Glue Sticks
- Black and White Construction Paper
- Picture Frame (size of your choice!)
- Craft Blade*
*Be sure to supervise your child when using craft blade
Start by drawing a design using your RoseArt Broadline Markers. You can also substitute the RoseArt Broadline Markers for Watercolors or Poster Paints. The artwork you create will be the base of your masterpiece.
As you will later see, it’s best to use bright colors as they will contrast really nicely with the black construction paper.
Next, create a fun design on your black construction paper such as flowers, a butterfly, etc.. I looked up different butterfly templates online and freehanded the design. You can also use a stencil if that works better!
*Make sure you use your craft blade on a safe surface such as a craft mat or cardboard.
Now, use your RoseArt School Glue Stick to glue the black cutout onto your initial drawing.
Place in a picture frame…and there you have it! So beautiful, and easy to assemble!
