Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and it’ time to send your Valentine a little treat! Instead of giving away candy this year, why not repurpose your RoseArt Crayons and create a fun DIY Valentine! We did a similar craft earlier in the year with the pumpkin crayons, and this is another great use for your broken crayons!

Here is what you will need for this Valentine craft:

  • RoseArt Crayon pieces
  • RoseArt Broadline Markers
  • White cardstock or construction paper
  • Heart-shaped silicone mold
  • Clear party bags
  • Stapler
  • Scissors
  • Oven

Once you have all of your items, start to create the heart-shaped crayon molds. Place the broken crayons into the silicone mold, and make sure the paper is off of the crayons! You can choose a variety of colors or one single color. Have fun with it!

Next, preheat your oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake the molds for approximately 15 minutes, but keep a close eye to make sure the molds do not bubble or cook too long.

Once the molds are ready, take out of the oven and allow them to cool. The shapes must be solid and cool on the outside before removing from the mold.

Next, take your white cardstock (or construction paper) to create your Valentine’s message. Cut the cardstock approximately 5” x 5” (or about the size of your clear party bag) and fold in half. Use your RoseArt Broadline Markers to decorate and write a special message to your Valentine.

We’re almost there! Now pop the heart-shaped crayon mold into your clear party bag and fold the top of the bag over. Place your cardstock over the bag and secure with a staple. Take a look at how great these turned out!

I hope these Valentines are a huge success! Enjoy!
